What can be a better example of shopping, cooking, and then having dinner together in a social distancing scenario? Join virtual Come Cook Dine with Me every Saturdays and having dinner with the community since the lockdown started. Participants from Scotland, Ireland, England, Europe, the Middle East, and India start cooking with her step-by-step for 2-hours to cook full meals followed by dining together virtually. This initiative is designed under the framework of home cooking, minimum wastage, low cost, high immunity, healthier eating, attain new skill, and adapting to new social. The key question of effective ways of integration along with maintaining one’s own identity and culture, in a multicultural society is of utmost importance. CamCareUK Trustee and organiser of the festival, Councillor Dr Shrobona Bhattacharya, said, "I put the efforts to address different ethnic community groups to be heard, acknowledged and respected. This includes cultural awareness and sensitization programmes on cultural difference encouraging the community itself. These activities give us and others the opportunities to connect with the people and to learn from each other." CamCareUK will run the festival of world languages and Diversity along with world food to acknowledge the diversity. The languages demonstrated were Hindi,Kannada,Punjab, Marathi, Polish, Estonian, Russian, Mandarin, English, Arabic, Palestinian, Algerian, Egyptian, Italian, German, Turkish, Assamese, Bengali, Telugu and Sign language, Spanish, Japanese, Bulgarian, Slovenian, Catalan, Sindhi, Tamil, Urdu, Romanian in the past years.
